It started with a sock factory.
When Soho House converted the old sock factory at 500 Houston Street into a members’ club, the neighborhood stopped being a secret. There is still no published arrival guidance — no valet, no porte-cochère — so we do it the WeHo way: set down at the door on Houston, and the car returns on your text.
The dinner block filled in fast.
aba, Pastis, Alla Vita, Bastion inside Houston Station — a restaurant row that barely existed a few years ago now runs on valet stacks. aba’s valet starts at 4:00 and its entrance hides off the alley between Brown and Humphreys; Bastion’s overflow parking sits behind the Jackalope building. We set down ahead of the stacks, not in them.
Live Nation bet 4,400 seats on it.
The Truth opens on Chestnut Street in October with its first nights already on sale — and not a word of parking or drop-off guidance published yet. The same street is mid-rebuild as Nashville’s first Complete Street through the end of 2026. New venue, torn-up street: exactly the night you want a driver reading the closure map before you leave the house.
The room that was here first.
Zanies has been packing 8th Avenue South since long before anyone said “WeHo.” No drop-off lane, no valet — the club’s free parking sits behind the building and around 809 South Douglas — and seating stops fifteen minutes after showtime. Fridays and Saturdays run two shows, 7:00 and 9:15, and the curb flips from empty to gridlocked in twenty minutes. We time it, not chance it.
Between the fort and the pyramid.
Fort Negley Park at 1100 Fort Negley Boulevard and the Adventure Science Center at 800 share the hill but not a parking lot, and Metro’s own approach runs straight through the Chestnut Street construction. The Science Center’s gated lower lot closes at 4:30 on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays — the classic late-pickup trap, and worth a driver who already knows it.
And in between, a neighborhood.
Galleries on Hagan and Humphreys that open late for the first-Saturday art crawl, five to nine. Culture Club scooping frozen Greek yogurt down on Martin Street for the after-dinner run. None of it comes with a parking plan — which is the point of an hourly car: it holds, you wander, and the night ends at your door instead of at a meter.

Can you get me to GEODIS Park on a match night?
Yes, and the timing is the service. The club publishes closures fixture by fixture: for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff, Benton Avenue closes six hours out in one stretch and three hours out in another, and Wedgewood Avenue closes three hours out — often reopening at kickoff and closing again at the 75th minute, though that line is not on every match. As of the 2026 season the drop-off and pick-up zone is on Craighead Street, Zones 1 through 4. Tell us your gate and your match, and we will read the actual schedule for that night.
Will a Sprinter fit in the stadium garage?
No. Lot 12 at 630 Coliseum Way is the only covered garage on the GEODIS campus and its posted clearance is 7 feet 2 inches. A Sprinter does not clear it, and neither will most executive vans. For a group we stage on the street instead — worth telling us at booking, not on the night.
Do you run to Zanies?
Regularly. Zanies is at 2025 8th Avenue South, with The Lab at 2019, and neither has a drop-off lane — the club’s published parking is behind the building and around 809 South Douglas Avenue. Seating stops fifteen minutes after showtime, so we plan arrivals against the 7:00 and 9:15 Friday and Saturday sets rather than the door time.
Is Chestnut Street construction going to affect my ride?
It can. Chestnut Street from 8th Avenue South to Lafayette is being rebuilt as Nashville’s first Complete Street — groundbreaking was July 8, 2026, with phased detours and lane closures expected through the end of the year. It is the address of The Truth and Dicey’s and Metro’s own route to Fort Negley. We check the live closures before every WeHo pickup and approach from whichever side is open.
